Megan Fox steps out in heels by Lebanese designer Andrea Wazen

US actress Megan Fox proved this week that she is a fan of Lebanese footwear designer Andrea Wazen’s creations.

The star wore Wazen’s heels to the REVOLVE Gallery Private Event this week in New York City.

Fox, who shared pictures of the event with her  Instagram followers on Thursday, opted for a pair of clear pointed-toe heels with gold-strap detailing, called the Dassy Sunset PVC Pumps.

She matched her heels with a sporty pale yellow jacket and matching flared pants.

It is not the first time that Fox has worn Wazen’s designs.

Earlier this week, the “Transformers” actress shared photos on her Instagram wearing a pair of transparent shoes designed by Wazen that featured green criss-cross detailing.

In July, the star championed the designer’s lace-up Mandaloun heels in blue.

Fox wore Wazen’s shoes during a shoot for Who What Wear, the California-based fashion brand that produces trend reports, celebrity style guides, wardrobe how-to lessons and fashion news.

Wazen’s work has been spotted on a number of A-listers and it girls, including Katy Perry, Kylie Jenner, Jennifer Lopez and Hailey Bieber.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a glittering gold dress to the ‘No Time To Die’ premiere

The royals have returned to formalwear in full force. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, came together to attend the glamorous world premiere of No Time to Die, the newest James Bond feature. The group arrived together at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the big event on Tuesday evening (28 September).

The premiere’s audience not only includes two future kings, but also healthcare workers and members of the military, who joined the royals for the special outing. Daniel Craig, of course, was also in attendance, celebrating his fifth and final time playing James Bond.

After many delays due to the pandemic, No Time to Die will finally arrive in cinemas on 30 September. In addition to Craig, the movie also stars Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ana de Armas and Naomie Harris among others. Notably, Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge contributed to the screenplay, alongside Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, and the movie’s director, Cary Joji Fukunaga.

The newest iteration in the franchise follows Bond as he reemerges from retirement to help a friend. The log line notes: “Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”

The royals often turn out for Bond premieres. William and Kate attended the premiere of the last Bond movie, Spectre, back in 2015, accompanied by Prince Harry. Prince Charles and Camilla also attended the premiere of Skyfall in 2012.

Gigi Hadid, Dua Lipa hit the Versace runway in Milan

Donatella Versace pumped energy into Milan Fashion week with a star-studded runway and guest list — with the likes of US-Palestinian model Gigi Hadid and British-Albanian pop superstar Dua Lipa hitting the catwalk in a number of sultry looks.

The collection was strong on the fashion house’s identifying markers: Bright colors, safety pins and lusciously silky foulards.

British singer and emerging fashion icon Dua Lipa opened the runway show in a skin-baring black suit held together with colored safety pins as her song “Physical” blasted through the venue and closed it in a liquidy fuchsia skirt and corset.

HOT PINK: The three-time Grammy winner opened and closed Versace’s show, launching the event at Milan’s Fashion Week in a hot pink two-piece outfit split to the thigh

In between, she was joined by Naomi Campbell, brightly clad in a hot-pink suit and orange shirt, Gigi Hadid in a snug latex black dress with just a silky flash of turquoise and pink, and Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon Ciccone, in a metallic silvery dress.

Work it: Naomi looked incredible in a hot pink power as she took to the runway alongside the likes of Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and Dua Lipa

There she is: Strutting down the runway in white heels, Naomi appeared in her element as she showed off the statement two-piece which was teamed with a white chain bag

Black suits and dresses with tiny flashes of color in pins and foulards that peeked from hemlines and slits formed the beginning of the show. Toward the end, the colors grew ever more bold until they burst into a vivid palette of pink, aquamarine, seafoam green, acid green and yellow.

“The foulard is a fundamental component of Versace’s heritage and character,” Versace said in the show notes. “This season (it) turns everything on its head, it is no longer fluid or dreamy, the scarf is provocative, sexy, wound tight.”

Menswear was more relaxed, with floral suits, sportier varsity jackets with mesh tops, or bright leather jackets paired with tight T-shirts and jeans.

Front-row guests at the show included Milan’s own fashion influencer-turned-entrepreneur Chiara Ferragni and her husband, the singer Fedez, US influencer-turned-actress Addison Rae and actress Bella Thorne with her Italian beau, singer Benjamin Mascolo.

Meanwhile, Italian fashion house Prada returned to the live runway for the first time since February 2020, when the creative partnership between Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons was announced.

The collection was dotted with trains, corsets and evening gowns as Simons bemoaned the “irreality” of an evening gown “however beautiful,” as many gowns have spent the pandemic hanging in closets.

“These clothes can become complicated — evening dresses, historical costume. We want to make it uncomplicated, easy, that feels modern,” Simons said.

Miranda Kerr dazzles in a dress designed by Nicolas Jebran

Australian model Miranda Kerr showed off a sleek dress by Lebanese designer Nicolas Jebran on Instagram on Friday, giving fans a sneak peek of the outfit she wore to celebrate model Jasmine Tookes’s wedding earlier this month.

Earlier in September, Victoria’s Secret model Tookes married Snapchat’s Juan David Borrero in his home country of Ecuador in the presence of family and friends, including co-founder and CEO of Snap Inc. Evan Spiegel and his wife, Kerr.

For the occasion, Kerr, 38, wore a silky, rouched dress by Jebran. Chosen by celebrity stylist Jessica Paster, the beige, form-fitting gown boasted a thigh-high slit and an off-the-shoulder neckline. Kerr finished off the look with glittering Jimmy Choo heels and a gem encrusted clutch. When it came to her beauty look, Kerr opted for natural makeup and loose hair, styled in beach waves.

And she wasn’t the only one to choose a Lebanese design. The most important dress of the evening came courtesy of Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad.

Tookes showed off a custom wedding gown by Murad that featured an illusion, lace-embroidered neckline, a fitted bodice and a voluminous skirt with a train. She paired the exquisite wedding dress with a sheer, floor-trailing veil. With its long sleeves and its high mandarin neck, the gown was equal parts chic and conservative.

The 30-year-old, who got engaged to the current Vice President of Ecuador’s son last year in Utah, first hinted at wearing a Zuhair Murad creation on her big day during the designer’s Fall 2021 couture show in Paris in July.

In a social media post, she wrote: “Such a pleasure to be in Paris and watch my favorite designer @zuhairmuradofficial. Ten years ago, I used to walk his couture shows and now I wear his dresses on almost every red carpet. Something even more special is coming very soon.”

The couple tied the knot in the presence of family and friends-slash-bridesmaids, which included fellow Victoria’s Secret models Shanina Shaik, Sara Sampaio and Lais Ribiero, in the Church of San Francisco in the city of Quito on Sept. 5, after putting their plans on hold due to the pandemic.
